The Stockman

Stock manager plugin that will help you manage product stocks.

How to Install

As always, just copy to the Rimtay/plugins directory.
Then after that please import the "stockman.sql" file to the database with PhpMyAdmin
This plugin needs to be activated from the Admin Panel (Settings/Plugin The Stockman)

How to Configure

As always, all configurations can be made from the Admin Panel (Settings>Plugin The Stockman)

The Important Notes

If you set System status to Passive, the system WILL NOT work. So you will not see Stock pages, and Inventory counting WILL NOT take effect.

You can set the image that you want to set when there is no stock from the Settings Page. You should put a valid image URL.

Stock Management

If you activate the plugin you will see a menu called "Stock Manager". In this panel, you will see a list of your products.

If you do not touch any stocks (if all the lines are ZERO), the system will not count any stocks.
So if you don't want to count stocks for any particular product, you can leave that product empty.
Otherwise, you can add stocks to the product by entering any value to the box associated with the product. You can put valid integers or decimals. It will accept both of them.
If you put 10 for example, it will increase the stock 10. It will not make the stock 10, it will increase it
If you want to reduce the stock, you can put integers or decimals with a negative (-) sign. The system will reduce the stock accordingly.
Initial Stock is the stock from the beginning. This will change if you add more stocks.
Sold is the amount that sold (PAID and UNPAID orders, CANCELLED and REMOVED orders are ignored)
Current Stock is the mathematical calculation of Initial Stock - Sold. So basically it's the current stock that can be ordered.

Some Hidden Features

The system is secure. Nobody can tamper with. It checks the quantities both on the client-side and on the server-side.
Products can be ordered only in the range of current stock. If you didn't set any stock - as described above - the system will not calculate the stocks so it can be ordered unlimited amount.
For example, there are 3 kgs of apples left, a client can only order 3 apples. And when it is ordered too, the system will disable any further orders no matter what.
Also will display the image set on Admin Panel
You can disable the system by changing its status on Admin Panel.
